Job Description
Our Client:
RGF represents a US multinational technology company which focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. They're actively looking to hire a Senior Vendor Manager to join their team.
The Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders of international vendors to grow and optimize the joint import business
* Develop and improve vendor relations and import sourcing for cost savings and new selection
* Work with key stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations
* Drive integration between new vendors and supply chain, product compliance and merchandising processes
* Contribute to the development of best practices and contract standards
* Monitor, analyze and own key performance indicators such as vendor import share, out of stock rate, vendor operational metrics, marketing investments
* Work with internal teams to understand the systems and variables that affect purchasing and vendor management decisions.
* Lead projects and regular business improvement initiatives
The Requirements:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree/ MBA in Finance, Engineering, Business, or Management
* 8+ years of relevant work experience at a senior level role in retail, operations, business management or consulting (could include buying, product management, financial analyses) with a proven history of delivering results
* 5+ years' experience in negotiations, pricing, or inventory management
* Proficiency with Advanced Excel and strong analytical acumen
* Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels
* Business focused thinking, an ability to focus on key issues and a strong hands-on, result-driven mentality
* Experience in Consumer Electronics Industry will be added advantage
