Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is the leading pharmaceutical Swiss MNC company across the globe. They are actively looking to hire an AR Officer for Credit Control to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Obtaining timely payments from customers within agreed payment terms, maximizing cash flow and reducing AR outstanding
* Manage Customers' debt notes claims/ processing
* Resolve billing/ collection reconciliations dispute with internal and external parties
* Close working relationship with customers, warehouse, customer service, delivery, and sales team
* Ensure AR allocation and reconciliations are performed accurately and promptly
* Process / review journal entries or adjustments
* Management of the Recovery of Debt
* To perform timely and accurate month end, periodic and ad hoc reporting (including analysis).
* Cash flow projection/ reporting
* Prepare and manage audit requirements
* Compliance to organisation's policies, internal controls, and any government rules & regulations
* Ensuring completeness/ update in documentation of new/ important process
* Actively support in associated AR or Credit process and/ or transformation initiatives
* Review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms
* Any exigencies that arises as part of business needs/ strategic priorities, e.g. AR/ credit admin roles as backup

The Requirements:

* Degree in Accounting/ Business Management/ Business Analytics from a reputable university, or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant working experience
* Diploma in Accountancy/ Business from a reputable institution, with a minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant working experience
* Hands-on with good working knowledge of SAP HANA/FSCM/ FI preferred
* Excellent skills in MS Office (particularly in Excel and PowerPoint)
* Independent self-starter who is hands-on, motivated, meticulous, and action driven
* Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines, in a dynamic & high volume environment
* Good communications and interpersonal skills
* Good problem-solving, organizational skills, team player
* Someone who is process-driven mindset
