Our Client:
Our client specializes in providing water treatment solutions across different process industries. They are currently seeking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join their project team in Singapore.
The Requirements:
* Assisting the technical sales team in defining supply scopes and estimating costs for electrical and automation needs during the initial stages of prospecting for water/wastewater systems and projects
* Collaborating with agents, distributors, OEM partners, and end-users to communicate technical specifications for Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (EICA) components
* Generating electrical and control panel diagrams, compiling Bills of Materials (BOM), and selecting suitable hardware using tools like AutoCAD or Eplan
* Developing PLC programming and HMI projects for controlling water/wastewater systems, utilizing platforms such as Siemens or Allen Bradley
* Managing sub-suppliers and subcontractors in Singapore and the region, negotiating procurement contracts for wiring, cabling, control panel fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation
* Monitoring procurement and production progress to ensure timely completion of cabling, wiring, control panel PLC works, and supplies
* Supervising on-site electrical installation, conducting panel tests, configuring instrumentation, performing loop tests, and commissioning automation systems
* Compiling and delivering comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, including electrical and PLC sections, for agent, distributor, and end-user reference
The Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in industrial/equipment production or engineering projects would be advantageous
* Good Interpersonal relationship and communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English to be able to liaise effectively with English-speaking stakeholders
* Able to work independently and a good team player
* Candidates with higher experience / qualification level may be considered for Senior role
* Willingness to travel locally or to regional countries occasionally for site installation, troubleshooting, or testing and commissioning duties at clients' project sites
