Our Client:
Our client is a prestigious Telecommunications organization supporting Infrastructure Networks. The Project Manager will be supporting ERP transformation projects and is expected to work and manage across various functional teams. This will be a 2- year fixed term contract position.
The Responsibilities:
* Assist in vendor and software sourcing activities
* Ensure alignment of all requirements with internal stakeholders and effectively communicate them to vendors
* Participate in the tender process and conduct technical evaluations of submitted proposals
* Review, streamline, and optimize existing processes, identifying gaps and manual steps to drive efficiency and introduce best practices
* Gather feedback throughout project implementation to support continuous improvement efforts
* Manage and monitor scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables commitments
* Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans with relevant stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of risk mitigation strategies
* Address project risks affecting scope, time, quality, and cost, escalating as necessary through appropriate channels
* Monitor project progress, handle issues as they arise, and report to management as required
* Serve as the primary point of contact and ensure adequate communication of project status to all stakeholders
* Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost, obtaining necessary approvals and escalating when needed
* Facilitate the change request process with vendors
* Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, obtaining buy-in and ensuring awareness of responsibilities and deadlines
* Participate in User Acceptance Testing and ensure smooth integration with related systems.
* Coordinate training for staff and vendors on the new system
* Monitor system performance and effectiveness post Go-Live
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent
* Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in various aspects including requirements analysis, business process, design, implementation, testing, data migration, training, deployment, and production cutover
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management
* Proficient computer skills, with strong familiarity in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with SAP B1 is highly advantageous
* Possess negotiation, mediation, and people management abilities
* Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team setting
* Demonstrates a positive attitude, drive to enhance process flows, clear communication skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to perform under pressure
