The Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement plans to drive growth and profitability within the motor insurance division
* Streamline processes to ensure efficiency, top-notch service quality, and compliance with regulations
* Maintain underwriting guidelines and risk assessment protocols for robust underwriting practices
* Manage a team of motor underwriters and distributor support staff, fostering a culture of high performance
* Work closely with various teams to deliver exceptional service to customers and distributors
* Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to expand market reach and advance the motor insurance business
* Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory changes to adjust strategies accordingly
The Requirements:
* Minimum of 8 years' experience in motor and commercial motor underwriting
* Strong leadership and management abilities
* Hands-on approach skills
* Thorough understanding of the Singapore insurance market and its regulatory framework
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and profitability
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
