Our Client is a major conglomerate with diverse interests spanning across steel production, energy generation, infrastructure development, and cement manufacturing. Their extensive portfolio and wide-ranging operations require a comprehensive and tailored approach to meet their varied needs. They are known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable practices, which would be important considerations when working with them.
They are currently seeking for a Trade Finance Executive to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Review and process Letters of Credit to ensure they meet all relevant terms
* Prepare and send out export documents aligned with Credit Letter and contract terms
* Oversee freight loans by handling documentation and liaising with financial entities
* Manage trust receipt activities, always ensuring compliance
* Confirm accuracy of both export and import Letters of Credit against contractual obligations
* Work in tandem with buyers and suppliers to facilitate smooth Credit Letter processes and address any issues
The Requirements:
* At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a role similar to commodities trading is essential
* Profound understanding of UCP600, international trade regulations, and incoterms
