Our Client:
Our client is a subsidiary company of a well-known Japanese Metals manufacturing company that was established in Singapore from 1976. They cater to the Electrical, Electronics and Semiconductor Industries in supplying downstream products such as copper alloy strips and stamped lead frames. They are now looking for an experienced Lab Technician to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Maintaining all lab equipment
* Carry out daily analysis of plating chemicals
* Provide calculation for plating chemicals top-up amount
* Update control charts and ensure all analysis results are properly recorded and updated
* Carry out in-house calibration of lab & wastewater treatment plant's ORP meters
* Review & revise all lab & wastewater treatment plant's work instructions whenever necessary
* Maintain & upkeep the smooth operations of auto-analyzers for treated effluents
* Keep track & maintain sufficient inventory for "Quick Test Kits" for daily treated effluent checking
* Maintain good 5S housekeeping of the plating laboratory
* Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisor
The Requirements:
* Minimum a NITEC/NTC certificate or equivalent
* Min. 3 years' relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
