Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is an overseas subsidiary of a reputable Corporation in Japan. They manufacture several pharmaceutical intermediates for export to Europe, Indian sub-continent, Middle East, East Asia and South-East Asia. They are actively looking to hire an Assistant Regional Marketing Manager/ Regional Manager to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Support distributors in Southeast Asia countries, on sales and marketing related activities. Conduct regular and timely business review with distributors, monitor and evaluate sales performance and results
* Assist with the development of promotional materials and other marketing collaterals
* Monitor and analyse market trends, such as reimbursement scheme, regulatory requirements, hospital tenders, and develop competitive business plans accordingly
* Develop and maintain strong relationship with healthcare professionals, global KOLs, as well as different stakeholders (internal and external)
* Prepare budget, sales forecast and variances analysis, export forecast, expense tracking, monthly activity report
* Support Regulatory Affair Team in the product registration process, ensuring timeline to registration meets business plans
* Propose and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive sales revenue and increase market share
* Lead new product launch, product price survey, product training, product value proposition
* Support local or regional academic conferences, webinars, workshops, proctorship, and other marketing initiatives

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Science or any related field
* Previous Sales and/or Marketing experience preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare related business
* Proven sales achievements and demonstrated success in implementation and execution of sales/marketing activities
* Up to 30% travels to Southeast Asia regions may be required post covid, often including overnight and weekend stays
* Excellent written and verbal command of English to communicate with English-speaking stakeholders
* Understanding of Japanese language to be able to liaise effectively with native Japanese-speaking counterparts, it will be a plus but not mandatory
