Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global vaccine research and development organisation, and they are looking for an Accountant to prepare and handle full sets of accounts, including accounts payables and receivables. He/She must ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and reports, maintain statement of accounts, third party invoices and GL functions.

The Responsibilities:

* Perform month-end closing activities
* Maintain accurate financial records and statements
* Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting system
* Manage cash flow forecast and bank reconciliation
* Preparation of monthly management reports, GL schedules and AP reconciliations
* Assist on month-end closing and accounting matters
* Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
* Assist with all the GST transactions, current asset and liability and liaison with auditors and tax agent
* Assist in preparing schedule, accruals, and prepayment
* Responsible for month-end/year-end closing, yearly tax computation submission
* Support audit, tax queries and company secretarial matters
* Perform other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by superior

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
* Minimum 6 years of relevant Accounts experience is preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Attentive to details, with high standards of accuracy and precision
* Organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
* Experience in SAP is a must implementation is experience is preferred
