Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is the leading beverage company in Singapore and was established in 1977 by its parent company in Japan. They have carved a strong niche in the RTD beverage market with healthy and innovative beverages made from authentic ingredients. They are actively looking to hire an Area Sales Manager who'd also align in their goals and values as it will enable them to access a wider audience through their well-established distribution network.

The Responsibilities:

* Achieve sales revenue targets in assigned markets
* Establish new distributors in new markets and existing markets to increase product distribution coverage
* Implement launch of new products and line extensions to capture untapped category segments and consumption occasions
* Ensure A/P and sales deduction spending are in line with the approved budget-
* Direct and motivate customers to achieve set targets
* Ensure timely submission of monthly reports, including but not limited to sales & inventory reports, 3 months rolling purchase forecast, and purchase orders
* Coordinate with Customers, Marketing, Research & Development, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure product labels and recipes are compliant with the market regulations
* Direct customer execution of agreed sales & marketing initiatives
* Formulate annual business plans and budgets for key markets to drive future business growth
* Provide robust estimates for demand forecast to ensure continuous product supply and minimize losses from the destruction of aged stocks
* Coordinate with Shipping & Admin team on the order & delivery processes to ensure timely delivery of customer's orders
* Provide updates to management on customer performance, market activities, market opportunities & challenges, and recommendations for improvement
* Regularly update Distributors' performance, present price proposals and Sales & Marketing plans to the Senior Management Team

The Requirements:

* Minimum a Bachelor's Degree
* At least 5 years of Sales, Distributor Management, or Trade Marketing experience in FMCG Industry
* Familiar with International Business
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision, dealing with ambiguity
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
* Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Applications
