Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is one of the growing manufacturing companies based in Japan. They specialize in trading of raw materials, plastic products, and fibre products. They are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

The Sales Executive is responsible for sales locally and towards Thailand and Malaysia

* To maintain strong working relationships with existing clients (80% farming)
* Development of new customers in General Industry (oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical & others (automotive, machinery and more) (20%)
* Perform market research for a sales development (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, ASEAN region) and perform business trips to ASEAN
* Liaising with Japan suppliers and HQ regarding technical specifications of products
* Customer portfolios vary across the chemical additive industry, life sciences, non-destructive test (chemical) and refractory metal, and other auxiliary products
* Establish clear short and long-term goals for the business
* Preparing of monthly sales reports and forecast
* Any ad hoc duties assigned by the company (prepare purchase order, quotation)

The Requirements:

* Min. 2 - 3 years of B2B Sales Experience in any field
* At least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any major, preferably in engineering
* Able to work independently and comfortable with business travels
* Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with native Japanese-speaking in HQ and to assist in translating documents
