By maintaining a fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environment, 100% equipped SMIF automation, and tried and true wafer-manufacturing procedures, they provide flexible and affordable semiconductor fabrication solutions. The company has changed over the previous 20 years, moving up the value chain in producing technologies for the future and generating value for all stakeholders.
They are actively looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to join their ever-growing team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Creating new network strategies and enhancing the efficiency of present networks
* Maximizing network security and efficiency by setting up firewalls, routing, and switching
* Provide daily network support requests for office and production FAB networks
* Assisting in troubleshooting and detecting issue on network incidents
* Monitoring network connectivity of all servers in the business compound
* Participate in network and security audits both internally and externally
* Installing, configuring, and maintenance network equipment including routers, switches & wireless controllers, and access points, as well as network access control
* Provide remote support for any production network-related incidents during weekends and/or after working hours
* Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with cabling work and network installation
* Optimize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
* Execute and arrange network device/firewall firmware upgrade or preventive maintenance activities
* Reporting network tasks and projects status to key stakeholders
The Requirements:
* Diploma in Computer Science, Information System or relevant field with minimum 3 years of network management experience
* Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, QoS, and VPN
* Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation
* Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
* (CCNA) Cisco Certified Network Associate certification is mandatory. HPE/Aruba or Fortinet/Palo Alto certifications are a plus
* Familiar with ISO 27001 - Information Security Management System (ISMS)
* Hands-on experience with equipment from HPE Comware/Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and ClearPass
* Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT Department and outside the organization
* Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
