Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is a subsidiary of a listed pharmaceutical company in Japan. They are actively looking to hire an Assistant Manager for Regional Business Management.

The Responsibilities:
Administration

* Provide day-to-day administrative supports to the member of Group
* Arrange for Company events
* Provide general support to visitors
* Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

Regional Supply Chain

* Coordinate with external clients and logistics service providers for import, export & 3rd party shipments
* Create purchase orders and shipping documents, etc.
* Assist creation of purchase orders and shipping documents for other Group companies
* Manage packaging/shipping operations at contract manufacturers contracted by Group companies
* Create and maintain supply chain related Standard Operating Procedures
* Manage supply chain related projects
* Send invoices to clients in a timely manner
* Manage filing of soft copy documentation for past orders
* Prepare accurate and timely reports
* Propose appropriate supply plan by taking into consideration of the market situation, regulatory approval status, etc.
* Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Regional IT

* Help maintaining Group's IT systems
* Help purchasing IT equipment and/or software if necessary
* Work with Company's IT vendor and obtain their technical support
* Help creation/maintenance of IT related rules, policies, etc.

HR

* Support HR activities

o Staff wellness, benefits, motivation etc.
o Implementation of company HR rules, and
o Assistance of new employees and leaving employees

The Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree holder in relevant field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in International Trade/Supply Chain administration
* In-depth knowledge of international trading operation and import/export documentations
* Prior working experience in Healthcare / Manufacturing Industry is preferred
* Ability to work alongside stakeholders and group companies' employees closely
* Possess the ability to multitask and communicate effectively
