Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the leading Financial Services companies in Japan. They are currently looking for an Assistant Head of Risk Management to join their Risk Management team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Assist in the setting up of the Risk Management Department in accordance with the guidelines as provided by MAS
* Identify actual and potential risk (Credit, Operational) together with the head(s) of the respective department/s
* Measure risk both qualitatively and quantitatively to facilitate risk identification and management
* Monitor risk regularly and ad-hoc basis in a timely fashion
* Preparing of both regular and ad-hoc Risk Management Report in a timely fashion for the Management to make prompt and informed decision
* Prepare and update the Risk Management Policy and Procedure
* Liaise with the relevant authorities and external parties with regards to the Risk Management issues of the Branch
* Training and mentoring staff members on effective Risk Management

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years' work experience in a Bank
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be to handle and articulate issues to the manager
