As a Senior Project Manager, you will effectively lead and ensure the engineering projects are carried out in compliance to corporate policies and all relevant authorities', regulations, and laws to deliver quality projects. You will be instrumental in elevating exciting projects to unprecedented levels of success and excellence.
The Responsibilities:
Engineering Management & Coordination
* Advise on cost optimization
* Coordinate with construction teams
* Provide recommendations for engineering optimization
* Oversee material selection and technical aspects
Proposal Preparation and Procurement
* Participate to new tender proposal preparation
* Feedback lesson learnt from previous project to tender team for future cost estimation
* Leading the project variation order (VO) proposal preparation in the project
* Take over the project after award, initial on the project handover from Proposal team
* Participate in Procurement Control List
* Monitor material delivery and availability
* Review open PR/PO and manage free issue materials
Client Management & Coordination
* Attending all client meeting regularly
* Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays
* Co-ordinate with Clients team to address any construction and commercial issue at site
* Understand Client needs and work closely with client to address the potential issues
* Attending the daily coordination meeting with inter-discipline leads for smooth execution of
* works
HSE Management & Coordination
* Focus on health and safety management
* Develop training plans and review results
* Enforce HSE rules and regulations
* Participate in safety meetings and toolbox briefings
Construction Planning & Execution
* Allocate resources for productivity
* Monitor construction schedules and costs
* Follow up on Variation Order proposals
* Assign daily work instructions and supervise supervisors
* Plan equipment loading
* Implement equipment management systems
* Suggest improvements for productivity
The Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or equivalent
* 10-15 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
* Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager preferred
* Strong interpersonal, management, and leadership skills
* Sound business acumen and decision-making abilities
* Willingness to travel overseas for business trips, as and when required
* Openness to relocation to project sites if required
