Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is one of the Japanese manufacturing companies. They are actively looking for a Logistics Executive to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
• Overlook the day-to-day maintenance of the warehouse, including inventory management, order tracking and operations
• Update the stock in the system and manage the physical inventory whenever needed
• Arranges transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule
• Coordinates imports and exports
• Reviews freight rates: air, courier, and land
• Perform import/export permit declaration and customs clearance. Communicate status, delays to appropriate parties. Resolve shipment issues and determine when to elevate to management for resolution
• Prepare commercial documents for shipments to international customers
• Monitor shipments and Customs clearance. Maintain Import and Export document files in accordance with Company policy
• Updating of inventory system and ISO procedures
• Ensure that all statutory regulations, company’s environmental and safety regulations and code of practice are implemented and complied with by all staff
• Responsible for the provision of safe and healthy working environment for all staff
• Ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements

The Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in logistics preferably or in similar industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
