Our Client:
Our client is a U.S. based multinational corporation in the Industrial sector are seeking for a dynamic Business Controller to be a part of their team in Singapore. The Business Controller will be reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and partnering closely with the General Manager for Asia.
The Responsibilities:
* Engage in collaborative efforts to ensure the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and timely delivery of financial reports, fostering transparency and informed decision-making across the organization
* Partner closely with stakeholders to develop and refine forecasts and budgets, leveraging financial insights to support strategic planning and resource allocation, ultimately driving sustainable growth
* Foster a culture of compliance and integrity by actively participating in the implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of internal controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational objectives
* Spearhead cross-functional initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and optimizing operational efficiency, promoting agility and adaptability to meet evolving business needs and challenges
* Collaborate closely with functional leaders to provide comprehensive financial analysis, offering valuable insights into pricing strategies, market trends, and performance metrics. Additionally, contribute to the preparation of regular reports, empowering stakeholders with actionable intelligence to drive business success
The Requirements:
* Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance. More than 10 years of comprehensive accounting and finance experience
* Possesses detailed knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements in the Asia region, covering accounting, taxation, foreign currency, and related areas
* Demonstrates strong skills in account analysis, problem-solving, and rapid decision-making, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to provide insightful commentary and analytical summaries
* Works effectively in dynamic, team-oriented environments, fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues. Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in English language to be able to liaise effectively with English-speaking stakeholders
