Our Client:
Our client is one of the top leading integrated engineering companies (HQ in Japan). Undertake dedicated and turnkey projects in building services, such as building management, air-conditioning, electrical and lighting, fire and security and ventilation systems. Their Singapore office is looking for a Purchasing Officer.
The Responsibilities:
* Responsible for direct & indirect sourcing activities, local and overseas purchases, starting form quotation, negotiation, evaluation quotations & vendor selection
* Prepare Purchase Order, follow up with order and delivery status to ensure timely deliver
* Perform daily operation purchasing matters and coordinate shipping with freight forwarder to ensure timely delivery
* Liaison with stakeholder to understand the constrain and requirement
* Negotiation with potential vendor to ensure price optimisation
* Monitor of product and service price list and vendor performance, variation order and ensure specification are met to requirement
* Able to adapt fast space environment, well organized in details and meticulous with excellent enter personal and communication skill
* Maintain master approved vendor list
* Filing of purchase order respectively and accurately
* Any Adhoc being assigned by the superior
The Requirements:
* Minimum 2- 5 years relevant working experience with construction industry preferably
* Candidate must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment under tight deadline
* Able to prioritise task and work effectively within a team
* Positive working attitude, can do attitude, proactive & hardworking
* Responsible, fast learner & willing to learn
* Result oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
* Proficient in computer software application, good Microsoft Office, Excel & Word
* Excellent written and spoken communication skill
