Our Client:
Our client is a subsidiary of a Japanese trading company involved in the storage, delivery and supply chain services in Singapore.
They are now looking for a Marine Operation Planner to join their team.
The Responsibilities:
* Processing of orders
* Assign orders to barges/launch
* Data entry and monitor barge/launch deployment
* Daily coordination with agents and checking of vessel schedules
* Coordinate with internal team:
* On timely barge loading to meet supply schedule
* Re-deployment of barge schedule as & when required to optimize the resources
* Administrative support for end to end process
* Answering to customers' inquiry on supply status and operational issue
* Holding of duty phone to provide 24/7 support to supply team to resolve operational issue (rotation basis)
* Conduct toolbox and training to crews
The Requirements:
* GCE 'O' level or Diploma in relevant field (Preferably in Logistics / Supply Chain Management)
* At least 2 years relevant experience in customer service role through phone and emails
* Willing to work on 24/7 standby to support supply team (rotation basis)
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills
* Must be computer literate and tech-savvy
