Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is an award-winning and forward-thinking industrial developer in Singapore. Due to recent staff movement, they are looking to hire an Electrically trained Facilities Engineer to work on one of the sites. This role will report to a Facilities Manager and will be 5 day work week on standby basis.

The Responsibilities:

As Facilities Engineer (Electrical), your responsibilities include:

* Review and plan M&E engineering systems for the assigned portfolio
* Plan and manage asset enhancement project, refurbishment work and replacement of M&E equipment such as electrical, power generator, switchboard, genset, etc
* Oversee design reviews of submission by term consultants and contractors
* Provide input on operation needs and maintainability of new build projects
* Work closely with external consultant on new development projects and retrofitting work
* Manage all relevant regulatory bodies licenses
* Plan and conceptualize new and advance engineering related technologies in areas related to energy and water conservation
* Conduct review of testing processes, procedures and performance measurements of M&E system
* Contribute to drafting the technical specifications for calling of tenders of new and retrofitting project

The Requirements:

To qualify for a Facilities Engineer (Electrical), you are required to:

* Possess a minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering or the equivalent
* Minimum 3 years of work experience specializing in M&E system facilities planning and maintenance framework
* Strong technical background in M&E system, building codes and FM operational practices
* Detailed oriented, flexible to changes, strong prioritization skill and communication skill
