Our Client:

Our client has decades of experience in the physical and financial energy and commodities markets to research the opportunities presented by this evolution. They assist their customers in expanding into new markets and navigating their complexities in order to maximize revenue while minimizing risk.

They offer a broad range of services to a large and diverse clientele that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and individuals. The firm, which was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in New York and has offices in numerous financial centers around the world. Currently, they are actively looking to hire an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their ever-growing team.

The Responsibilities:

* Managing client support by logging, diagnosing, and resolving their problems via email, phone, and helpdesk portal
* Assist with the resolution of any technology or general office infrastructure issues
* Desktop provisioning and support in Hardware and MS Office Suite on-premises and remote
* Servicing as the primary point of contact for internal clients, focused mainly on Singapore office employees
* Mobile devices provisioning and support in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune
* Using the help-desk system to document problem descriptions and resolutions
* Working with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders to investigate and test problems and develop solutions for clients
* Explain the status of issues to clients and escalate high-priority customer issues to management
* Coordinating and managing desk moves and computer equipment upgrades
* Installation of new server room equipment and removal of decommissioned equipment
* Provide remote support to other US offices as necessary
* Manage hardware inventory of spare computer parts and pc's

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent
* 5 years or more of experience in supporting corporate end users, ideally in financial institutions or trading companies
* Knowledge of Reuters, Bloomberg, Trayport ICE, etc. is preferable
* Previous work experience in customer or client services will be a plus
* Experience in coding or scripting languages would be preferable
* Microsoft Certified Professional is a plus
