Our Client:
The firm aims to serves as an optimal platform for facilitating the continuous expansion of Singapore's need of the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G technology, cloud computing, autonomous vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, remote surgery, and various other digital applications. The firm is responsible for installing and maintaining fibre optic cables, ducts, and related network equipment. They are also responsible with constructing, overseeing, and maintaining the network infrastructure vital for Singapore's internet connectivity.
The Responsibilities:
Your responsibility will include but not limited to leading a team in the management of IT personnel and resources, encompassing both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), to align with the company's business objectives and requirements:
* Formulate IT strategies in accordance with the Company's business goals
* Supervise and ensure consistent support for all Operations and Business applications
* Develop, refine, or deploy pertinent IT and OT policies, procedures, and processes, drawing from industry best practices
* Enhance and implement the IT and OT Disaster Recovery Plan and Incident Response Plan within the Business Continuity Plan
* Deploy cybersecurity measures, protocols, and systems to safeguard the company against potential cyber threats or attacks
* Establish systems to facilitate an effective remote work environment for the entire company
* Cultivate IT human resources and establish appropriate performance targets/objectives. Conduct evaluations to enhance their proficiency and expertise
* Collaborate with Senior Management, the Board of Directors, regulatory authorities, and vendors
* Stay updated on technological advancements and trends, recommending new technologies to enhance the Company's efficiency and effectiveness
* Develop and oversee the IT and OT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in technology expenditures
* Monitor budgetary expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings
The Requirements:
* A degree holder from a recognized institution or university in Engineering or IT
* Good interpersonal skills, both with team colleagues and stakeholders. Proven ability to work within a complex team and stakeholders
* Applicable experience in IT, OT, and Telecommunications
* Strong familiarity and expertise in Telco OSS/BSS operations
* Demonstrated planning and execution of cybersecurity protection measures or strategies
* Proficiency with relevant industry standards such as ITIL or eTOM.
* Competency in program and project management
* Effective people management abilities
* Oversight of performance for both staff and vendors
* Negotiation proficiency in contract discussions
* Proven track record in successfully delivering IT projects/programs of varying complexities
* Strong negotiation, influencing, communication, and presentation capabilities
* Expected to work five days a week with standard office hours but may be required to work additional hours as needed based on workload demands
