We are seeking a dedicated Manager with exceptional leadership skills to oversee the management of a commercial building. The ideal candidate should possess substantial knowledge and experience in building management.
The Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of experienced Building Executives in managing building operations and facilities, including the outsourcing of services such as cleaning, security, and concierge
* Supervise and ensure the quality of work delivered by the team and vendors, overseeing routine maintenance activities and services to ensure satisfactory outcomes
* Conduct regular inspections to uphold building standards, addressing cleanliness, parking, signage, and other areas as needed, and provide recommendations for improvements
* Prepare budget plans, management reports, and contracts reviews, while monitoring general building repairs and defect works
* Collaborate closely with the M&E team to manage building facilities and equipment effectively
* Manage the procurement process, including preparing, evaluating, and administering quotations and tenders for various maintenance, repair, and replacement works
* Engage in the building's Green Mark upgrading standards and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations
* Conduct regular inspections of fire protection facilities and systems to ensure their effectiveness and compliance
* Lead fire evacuation drills and tabletop exercises in adherence to SCDF regulations, facilitating fire inspections by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF)
* Exercise budgetary control and prepare for operational and capital expenditures
* Liaise with relevant authorities, obtaining necessary licenses and certificates, and maintaining proper records and documentation
* Attend to any additional duties as required by management
The Requirements:
* Hold a recognized degree in Building Management or equivalent qualification
* Possess a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
* Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Exhibit a customer-centric approach with a positive attitude
* Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team
