Technician (Manufacturing Section)

Our client is a well-established chemical company that produces high-purity chemicals for the semi-conductor industries in Singapore.

Job Description

* Manage and operate production filling equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. e.g packaging, inspection, checklist updating , final Inspection

* Proactively monitor, identify, develop and implement improvements in processes and equipment.

* Conduct and inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

* Check and record data associated with operating equipment.

* Start up and shut down of processing equipment.

* Train process technicians on the process and procedures as required.

* Investigate, report and troubleshoot findings on both quality and EHS related issues observed during manufacturing.

* Perform panel operation, monitor process trend and alarm using CENTUM system.

* Understanding and familiar of basic flow of receiving, open /close valves, on/off pumps, N2 etc.

* Familiar of basic flow, functions of all equipment/facilities.

* Identify and communicate all operating deviations and problems.

* Monitor and troubles shooting to ensure there is no interruption to manufacturing process.

Requirements

* Candidate must possess at least a NiTEC, Diploma in Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): MS Excel/Word
* At least 2 years relevant working experience with knowledge in manufacturing environment.
* Committed, self-motivated, independent and able to work in a team.
* Certificate Competency Class 2 Boiler Attendant & experience in manufacturing chemical plant production environment and work processes is an added advantages.

-Basic Salary : Up to SGD3,000
-Working day/ timing : Mon - Fri (9:00AM to 17:30PM)
-Company Transport Pick-Up from Boon Lay MRT to Company (2 ways)
