Job Description
Our Client:
A newly opened cafe-style restaurant, owned by one of our MNC client is looking for an experienced chef.
The Responsibilities:
* Ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation in the kitchen and café.
* Solo worker
* Fully in-charge of entire café operations (from taking order, payment, preparation of food and beverages, serving to cleaning)
* Assist in the management of Kitchen Operations including menu planning and costing, developing new dishes, maintaining food quality standards and comprehensive product knowledge
* Ensure Kitchen standards in accordance to SFA/NEA Licensing
* Ensure sufficient stocks are in storage & food placed in appropriate containers
* Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are used safely, correctly and kept in good working condition at all times
* Act on any guest feedback and provide any service recovery when required
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness
* Assist in packing and repacking of products during non-busy hours
* Perform any other duties assign by the Management
The Requirements:
* Possess at least 3 Year(s) of relevant working experience
* Minimum F&B Professional Certificate/NiTEC
* Knowledge of food hygiene and preparation standards
* Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to work on long hours, weekends and Public Holidays
* Has good communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently
