Job Description

Our Client :

Our client is one of the top leading Japanese MNCs in Engineering industry. Their business is wider range in "Energy & resources" "Gas Turbine" "Space Produces" and "Aircraft Engines" and so on. They are looking for an energetic individual to join their team as a Regional Finance & Accounting Manager.

The Responsibilities:

As a Regional Finance & Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for deploying a new standardized accounting system to subsidiaries in Asia Pacific Region. Not limited to implementation of new system, you are required to provide necessary supports to subsidiary companies in the area of finance, cash management, accounting, tax, risk control and policy / process management for internal control.

1. Roll out new Accounting System (SAP S4 HANA) to subsidiaries in Asia Pacific region

* Prepare and promote implementation plan with details
* Deploy the standardized accounting process based on SAP S4
* Perform FIT/GAP analysis for each subsidiary and propose necessary solutions / support
* Define steps of data migration and support its execution
* Plan and perform training / user acceptance test with external consultant
* Prepare and support for Go-Live of new system
* Any other supportive tasks for SAP implementation

2. Establish system and procedure to support SAP operation in the region

* Develop and implement policy on Process Controlling - Communication set-up to deploy and maintain standardized policies & processes - Support monitoring of operation status at each company in the region - Take an initiative for continuous improvements of SAP operation and related processes
* Study and review to establish Shared Service Centre (SSC) and/or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

3. Establish Cash Management System

* Monitor cashflow status of the group companies in the region
* Develop and maintain the global cash management system including the set-up of financial tools and operating processes
* Establish the regional sub-system of cash management and organize to involve group companies in the region. Control of cash balance, intercompany funding and process operations

4. Contribute to Centre of Excellence (CoE, in the mid/long-term)

* Provide advice / analysis on accounting related issues with expertise (coordinating with external consultant if needed)
* Support regional subsidiaries in Financial Strategic Planning / Enhancement of Risk Management / Financial Measures

5. In-country Finance / Accounting related

* In-charge of full-set of accounting related process (work as reviewer / approver at SAP Operation) - Budget control: Organize budget and monitor monthly result
* Any other ad-hoc approval and supporting task

6. Any other duties as assigned by CFO/GM

The Requirement:

* Possess strong knowledge and minimum 10 years relevant working experience in finance, full-set accounting, cost accounting as well as consolidation with minimum 3 years' managerial experience in manufacturing industry
* Possess strong knowledge and experiences in SAP (preferably S4 HANA) as a "user" and ability to identify issues as well as proposing solutions
* Cross cultural and regional experience (experience of a certain project deployment by Regional Headquarter will be preferable)
* Well-organized, meticulous to detail, self-driven, and motivated by new challenges
* Good interpersonal and communication skills / capability to coordinate with both internal & external stakeholders are desired
* Willing to travel frequently to Asia Pacific region (travel frequency: 50%)
