Lawyer

Our Client:
Our Client is a reputable Law Firm in Japan and is building an international team of lawyers capable of delivering services as a global law firm, to support clients’ cross-border economic activities. They are currently looking for a Lawyer to join their growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including:
- Mergers & acquisitions (excluding legal due diligence tasks)
- Joint ventures and strategic alliances
- Restructuring and reorganisations
- General corporate governance and compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g., shareholder agreements, service contracts, NDAs, licensing agreements, etc.)
• Provide legal support for transactional structuring, regulatory compliance, and corporate secretarial requirements
• Assist with corporate advisory matters relating to Singapore company law and regulatory frameworks
• Liaise with external stakeholders

The Requirements
• A Singapore-qualified lawyer
• At least 5 years of experience in a law firm
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a good team player
• Self-driven individual with a positive mind-set
• Experience in cross-border corporate transactions or advisory work is highly advantage
