business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and drive sales growth in the territory. This role
encompasses business development, distribution and channel sales management, technical sales, and
account management, ensuring strong partnerships and an effective sales strategy within the motion control
industry.
Job Description
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Overall responsibility for sales in the territory.
• Drive revenue growth and increase profitability.
• Ensure customers and partners receive timely technical support.
• Identify and develop new customers and applications, focusing on semiconductor, laser processing, and
other target market segments.
• Identify and develop new distribution and channel partners.
• Establish and execute mutual action plans with key sales channel partners.
• Provide regular activity reports to management.
• Communicate product and application feedback from customers and sales channels to marketing.
Requirements
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in selling motion control products (motion controllers, motor drives,
precision motion stages, motors, actuators, encoders).
• 2-3 years of experience managing regional sales with multimillion-dollar responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a motion control-related engineering field (Electrical, Controls,
Mechatronics). MBA or business-related degree preferred.
• Industrial OEM automation/motion control sales experience (Semiconductors and Laser Processing
equipment preferred).
• Basic understanding of high-precision closed-loop motion control systems and their components: motion
controllers, servo drives, servomotors, encoders, PID control, real-time motion programs, and PC-based
host programs.
• Ability to develop solution proposals and deliver technical sales presentations.
• Passion for sales and business development.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and proactive.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking
customers
Travel Requirements
• Up to 50% overnight travel, primarily to customers, channel partners, and tradeshows in the region.
• 1-2 annual visits to headquarters for meetings and training
