Job Description

• Operate Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) during underwater missions in line with company protocols and project goals.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on ROV systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
• Support the Senior ROV Pilot in managing marine operations such as launching, lifting, and recovering the ROV.
• Assist in liaising with stakeholders during operations, including port authorities, client vessels, and bunker barges.
• Prepare operational documentation and reports before and after missions.
• Contribute ideas and implement system upgrades to enhance the ROV’s performance and efficiency.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Technical or Country Manager.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in electrical and electronics engineering; candidates with mechanical engineering backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to enhance ROV design and functionality.
• Good spatial awareness and understanding of 3D environments.
• Familiarity with marine and electrical safety standards, with a strong safety-first approach.
• Prior offshore ROV experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic proficiency in computer usage.
• Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Proactive, hands-on, and resilient team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Physically and mentally prepared to work in offshore and shipyard environments.
• Willingness to work irregular hours or shifts when required.
