Senior Corporate Communication Executive

Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global leader in energy shipping solution delivering high quality ocean transportation and specialist petroleum services to energy industries, refineries, and trading house. They are looking for a Senior Corporate Communications Executive to handle internal and external communications skills including crisis communications. Successful candidate should have experience in energy maritime industries.

The Responsibilities:

* Responsible for internal and external communications including content creation, managing digital media, advertising, and events as well as crisis communications
* Lead and implement communication strategies (global and locally), handle internal and external event planning
* Develop content and support content production (global and locally) with appropriate key messages as part of editorial communications plans, key initiatives and change management programmed
* Implement digital comms strategy covering social media, online media, virtual events, advertising and other new digital tools, manage vendors as required
* Preparation of relevant report and conduct analysis of online and social media traffic
* Work with external agency to protect company's reputations in areas of incident and crisis communications
* On 24-hour rotational roster with other members to ensure continuous support for any crisis across the region, with full media watch on brand name
* Manage project timeline, review and continuously improve various collaterals and channels
* Ensure company brand complies with ID guidelines, maintenance of ID guidelines and translating into creative briefs
* Fulfill request related to communications support (e.g. roadshows, site visit, event planning)
* Support global corporate communications in all communication related maters to ensure smooth operation
* To comply with company policy as well as code of conduct and business ethics
* Other duties assigned by superior

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Communications/ English/ Journalism or other equivalent discipline
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in energy and maritime industry
* Candidate with exposure to energy transition, sustainability and ESG topics are advantageous
* Excellent communication and writing skills with good presentation skills
* Good working knowledge in SharePoint, social media, and website management
* Good time management, organized and able to multitask
* Self-driven and independent, comfortable with remote team and management with diverse culture and time zones
* Digital savvy with good IT and video editing skills
