Our Client:

RGF represents one of the well-established general insurance companies in Asia. They hold an A+/Stable financial rating by Standard & Poor's. They're actively looking to hire an Assistant Manager to join their ever-growing team.

The Responsibilities:

* Supervision and coaching of finance staff for both Oracle & Core systems
* Oversee the daily operation of AP/AR sections
* Assist in the computation & review of profit commission in accordance with agreements signed
* Assist AVP in collating credit control updates from business units for regional reporting, preparation, or review of the prepared materials for credit control meeting and to support business units in any related matters or queries on outstanding debts
* Assist in the implementation and monitoring of financial and internal controls
* Provide support to operating/supporting units in relation to financial matters on SAP, P400 and Gen 400 systems and transactions
* Provide support to VP/AVP on projects, process improvement, process management and the implementation monitoring of financial and internal controls
* Undertake UAT for enhancements and implementation for both Oracle & core systems and bank payment files
* Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

The Requirements:


* Degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting qualification


* Thorough understanding of accounting practices, preferably insurance-related
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Appreciation of financial and internal controls, with the ability to balance requirements for internal control with efficiency
* Hands-on experience in SAP and Oracle preferred


* Finance and accounting experience in an Insurance-related Industry, particularly in leading a team managing the day-to-day finance operation and credit control
* Some audit experience will be an added advantage
