Sales Manager

Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is an expert Japanese electronics manufacturing company that specializes in connectors. They were established in Singapore in 1978. They are actively looking to hire an experienced individual to join their team as a Sales Manager.

The Responsibilities:

* Report to the Managing Director directly
* Lead the Sales team (Salesman, Sales Assistant, etc.) and meet the Sales team KPI
* Exploring new opportunities to increase the Business Revenue and Profit for the Company & perform Market Demand research
* Servicing & explore new opportunities with existing allocated customers (Customers: Local customers, Japanese customers, MNC customers)
* Provide technical and sales support to customers
* Handle quotation approval application to HR & prepare quotation to customers
* Prepare monthly reports and forecast entry into SAP system
* Account Receivables Management
* Inventory optimization through stock monitoring / customer orders, etc.
* Interaction with Japan HQ and other overseas Sales Office
* Any ad hoc duties as requested by Managing Director

The Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma/Degree with 5 - 10 years Sales experience in Semicon/Electronic Manufacturing Industry or any relevant industry
* Self-motivated individual with knowledge of business development
* Knowledge of customer applications (Automobiles, Consumer, industrial, Medicals, etc.)
* Possess skills in controlling sales backorders, inventories, and forecast
* Ability to develop sales plans and forecasts
* Possess a Driver's license
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Willing to travel, as and when required
