Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a freight forwarding and logistic leader with HQ in France. They provide an end-to-end solution in supply chain solutions customized to customer's growing needs. They are actively looking to hire a Customer Service Executive to provide seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the energy projects department.

The Responsibilities:

* Maintain good rapport and working relationship with customer, ensure their order are promptly processed; as well as requirements are fulfilled timely and in appropriate manner
* Act as the main contact point for all commercial and service-related enquiries
* Handling shipments and documentations from A to Z (booking arrangement, quotations, declaration of permits and clearance documents for import and exports, commercial invoice, AWB, Packing List, COO issuance, trucking instruction, forwarder cargo receipt, CNCA, COC, ECTN, BIETC documentations, etc.)
* Maintain proper filing of documents
* Handle shipping documents dispatch, pre-alert, and shipping advice to customer as well as network offices
* Liaison with overseas team on data quality related matters
* Conduct month end closing for job files, ensure billings are done timely and accurately
* Preparation of report on project shipments as per client's requirement, ensure works done complies with customer's SOP
* Coordinate on shipment and transportation arrangements on freights, arrange for packing and labelling of dangerous goods
* Ensure works done are in compliance with legal requirements as well as within acceptable health, safety and environmental risks
* Other functions as assigned by supervisor

The Requirements:

* Diploma/ Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain or any relevant discipline
* Minimum 1-2 years of related working experience with good understanding of freight forwarding
* Preferably from oil and gas background, familiar with dangerous good regulations will be an added advantage
* Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Good communications and interpersonal skills
* Good attitude, positive, self-motivated person with analytical and problem-solving skills
* Independent and able to work in fast-paced and stressful environment
