Our Client:

Our client is a leading global supplier of semiconductor wafer processing equipment. Their ambitious team is dedicated to delivering innovative technology solutions to the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers. They have over 2,600 employees based in 14 countries, including Belgium, Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and United States. They are actively looking to hire a Senior COE Quality Engineer to join them.

The Responsibilities:

* Leverage expert technical knowledge in Welding, E Beam, Orbital, Brazing drive innovation and high quality in the manufacturing standards, new designs and supplier capabilities to enable and support world class semi equipment manufacturing
* Build strong partnership with key stakeholders within the organization to positively impact change towards strong quality process and practices including working with design teams to support N+1 and N+2 development
* Ensure continuous learning and innovation in areas of specialty to ensure specialty remains on the cutting edge of manufacturing
* Ensure that there is rigor around manufacturing specifications to support customer needs by creating and delivering regular updates
* Ensure qualify and maintain analytical process to validate all critical attributes within key area of specialty
* Ensure that best known methods are in place to ensure final product meets all engineering requirements including customer requirements
* Demonstrate a strong focus on quality not only within the team but within the Company's organization through relationships with key stakeholders

The Requirements:
Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent experience in engineering/ manufacturing
* Minimum 5 years' experience with expertise in Welding, E Beam, Orbital, Brazing in semiconductor or wafer fab environment
* Lean methodology

Skills

* Strong Technical expertise in Welding, E Beam, Orbital, Brazing
* Project Management skills to drive technology towards the next level
* Ability to collaborate with others in a global setting
* Ability to influence, persuade and position the value of building in quality into products
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to use logic and data to make factual assessments
* Reliability knowledge is strongly preferred
* Ability to drive resolution at the root cause level to ensure full resolution of quality issues
* Seen as an expert in their field of specialty such that others seek out knowledge
* Strives to provide practical solutions based upon deep dive understanding of key issues within area of specialty
