Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is an industry leader and manufacturer of sealing products for various industry, servicing Asia-Pacific and Middle Eastern markets. They are actively looking to hire a Sales Engineer to achieve company revenue growth objectives by servicing key account in APAC and Middle east region.
The Responsibilities:
* Manage new and existing key clients within assigned region. Handle client's enquiry, proposal, and quotations
* Provide support and good services to ensure satisfaction grow
* Responsible for KPI, goals, and sales budget set by superior
* Maintain strong working relationship with current and prospects clients, ensuring all needs including technical advice, troubleshooting, as well as product application and timeline supports are met
* Generation of proposal and quotation, provide selling price to inside sales team
* Generation of sales presentation, annual price lists and contract agreement for key clients
* Generation of monthly sales forecast, sales report, updates, and business review
* Conduct solo client visit (locally and overseas) to provide sales and technical support to respective customers
* Work closely with costing team, marketing team, suppliers and manufacturers to support clients' request
* Support marketing team to promote company's branding and products, organize exhibitions in assigned region
* Analyze market data and review trends for the betterment of business
* Suggest ideas to improve communication and operation efficiency
* Other functions as assigned by supervisor
The Requirements:
* Diploma/ Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years' experience in Engineering Sales
* Ambitious, flexible with positive attitude, always on the look-out for sales opportunities
* Organized and meticulous, good in planning with time and project management skills
* Ability to understand engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing will be advantageous
* Knowledge in revision standards, engineering technical routing, transmittal requirements and non-conformance controls
* Good interpersonal and communications skills to liaise with professionals of all levels
* Computer literate, good working knowledge in MS Office
* Comfortable travelling overseas for client visits, tradeshow
* Comfortable working in office environment with some exposure to manufacturing floor
* Able to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
