Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the leading trading companies in liquefied natural gas field. They are actively looking to hire an LNG Originator to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Developing and reporting portfolio balancing strategy with regards to the mid to long-term supply & demand balance of the company including long-term LNG contract procurement plan
* Identifying and developing term procurement and/or sales opportunities, and drafting and leading the relevant negotiations for the LNG key term sheet. Further, capable of evaluating commercial and financial value of the key terms
* Being able to negotiate LNG SPAs with counterparties and lead the contracting process on its own as well as with legal experts and the team. Further, capable of timely report and presentation to the managements upon necessity
* Developing and maintaining sustainable relationships with market participants to always ensure an access to the core information in relation to new LNG project status, recent deal reference, market players' position, etc. Issuing periodic reports to the managements based on the aforesaid information and its own analysis
* Active engagement with integrated scheduling, commercial operations and any contract related issues in a prompt and timely manner
* Developing new business ideas such as structured deal and optimization
* Working closely with team members in discussing procurement strategy, negotiation strategy, market conditions, etc.
* Manage contractual and counterparty relationships to have better position in contract re-negotiation, Annual Delivery Programs discussion and managing disputes

The Requirements:

* Prior experience in a Contract Operations/Scheduling role, knowledge of LNG project/industry is required
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* At least 5 years of experiences with at relevant position
* Work experience in an LNG or Energy company is required
