Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a German multinational corporation specializing in manufacturing bearings, engine components, and mechatronic products. With over 180 locations worldwide, client is one of the largest automotive and industrial suppliers globally. The company operates in three main business segments: Automotive, Industrial, and Aftermarket. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Demand Planner to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Market Segmentation

* Manage market segmentation in SAP for Availability Program (AP), Series Program (SP), and Order Program (OP)
* Evaluate and establish regional parameters in the AP classification tool to provide a validated AP proposal to the Sales Management
* Implement strategic and contractual Series Programs based on inputs in Demand 360°, in collaboration with the Account Owner

* Rolling Demand Validation and Demand Planning

* Perform a rolling demand validation, implement, and control countermeasures in case of deviations
* Conduct a rolling demand planning, taking into account regional market and customer requirements, to inform production segmentation and planning
* Adjust demand planning in response to relocations and phase-ins/phase-outs, in collaboration with regional Demand Processing
* Continuously improve the implemented forecast algorithms, in alignment with Demand Management Industrial, to enhance forecast accuracy
* Continuously improve the implemented market MRP parameters, in collaboration with regional demand processing, for optimum results

* Customer Specific Supply Concepts

* Enhance customer loyalty through the implementation of customer-specific supply concepts
* Develop, coordinate, and implement customer-specific supply concepts for the Global Key Account Manager and Key Account Manager, based on end-customer requirements, and in collaboration with the Account Owner (which includes the Sales Representative, Global Key Account Manager, or Key Account Manager)
* Present these concepts at the customer's site and follow up regularly to ensure sustainability

* Inventory Management

* Calculate and align yearly inventory budgets and targets
* Monitor and control daily inventory KPIs and determine countermeasures in case of deviations
* Follow up with regional order processing for any delivery blocks

The Requirements:

* Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study
* At least 1-2 years of experience in the field of Demand/Supply Chain Management
* Strong knowledge of forecasting algorithms, forecasting, and MRP processes
* Proficiency in SAP-R/3 (MM, PP, SD Modules), SAP APO, and Microsoft Office applications, is a core requirement
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and counterparts
