Our client was founded in the US. They are an American stock-listed company, they provide products and solutions in high performance chemical additives. With more than 90 years of presence since their founding, the company is geared towards effective and customized solutions providing greater end-user satisfaction on industrial equipment performance.

As of today, the company in present in multiple markets throughout APAC, EMEA, and Americas. In Singapore, the organization invested since 1980s. It started as the regional hub as its chemical additive manufacturing facility for APAC. Throughout the years, the organization has expanded its operation and as of now Singapore is chose as their APAC HQ.

The Responsibilities:

* Uphold the User Support Group's reputation as the foremost and most effective means of enhancing IT efficiency within the organization
* Providing assistance to users in all aspects of desktop support, and identifying their requirements
* Assessing the current systems and proposing alternatives to enhance performance in collaboration with the HQ IT teams
* Guarantee the availability of all APAC networking systems
* Being the first point of contact for support in Singapore and providing escalation support for the Service Desk in other APAC facilities
* Identifying potential threats to the environment and suggesting ways to improve security or reduce expenses
* Create, manage, protect, and enhance the network setting, which encompasses products such as Cisco switches, Cisco routers, Aruba wireless products, MPLS, VLAN designing, firewall and VPN configuration, DNS configuration
* Developing and executing plans for all network modifications
* Applying network patches throughout APAC, overseeing change management, and maintaining configuration data and scripts. Ensuring the security of the operating system, implementing monitoring procedures, and analyzing logs
* Understand and comply with all IT protocols and practices; identify gaps and contribute to the creation of new procedures
* Update the IT executives leaders on new and persistent issues and collaborate to identify resolutions
* Contribute to all AP IT initiatives, such as establishing new laboratories, supporting new Singapore plant, regional offices launches, office relocations, and so on
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the global IT team to ensure that IT infrastructure is established correctly and within the designated timeline

The Requirements:

* Experienced in designing and engineering networks proficiently
* Possessing a strong background on VoIP technologies (certification in CISCO VoIP is an advantage)
* Demonstrating effective diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
* Practical knowledge in Microsoft On Premise Networking, Microsoft Office365 network support, and Cloud network support (particularly Azure and AWS)
* Familiar with ISE or other RADIUS and Network Access Control systems
* Willingness to travel in Asia and to the US for work
* Effective communications, both in writing and verbally
* Displaying initiative, a customer service mindset, and effective interpersonal skills

Education & Experience

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* Relevant professional certifications
* Minimum 4 years of Cisco or equivalent networking experience is required
* CCNA or equivalent certification, training, and/or architecting experience is required
* Experience as a direct user IT support professional (2+ years)
