Our Client:
The company is a global quantitative trading firm with offices in Chicago, Austin, and Amsterdam. The company creates and implements quantitative trading strategies in exchange-traded financial products for its own account. The firm trades in a wide range of asset classes, markets, and geographies.
The candidate should have strong numerical, analytical, research and interpersonal skills. The role is both involved in managing current business processes as well as researching new opportunities to expand the business. We are looking for an ambitious individual who is self-motivated, eager to learn, and willing to take on responsibility and ownership of projects. The candidate must have excellent attention to detail and a very low error rate.
The Responsibilities:
* Managing the industry relationships with exchanges, vendors, and other businesses experience
* Being a pivotal role in helping co-ordinate the company's efforts in markets and working with exchange and broker representatives
* Research new opportunities, gather information, start new counterparty relationships and succinctly analyze the information to help management make effective decisions for the business
* Support working in a global environment
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a strong analytical focus
* Experience or a keen interest in finance and trading (professional history not required)
* Expertise in Excel and other similar software (VBA preferable)
* Experience working with exchanges or proprietary trading
* Interest in researching new opportunities and developing relationships with business partners
* Experience in software analysis for bug fixing and development
