Our Client:

An excellent opportunity to join our client who is a Logistics MNC with strong global commodities warehousing and freight forwarding portfolio. Company is currently looking to hire a Paralegal to take on a pivotal role in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

This position is based in Singapore, and you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of Paralegal scope and providing excellent support to the legal team. You will assist in the conduct of meetings and certain negotiations with banks, traders, and other third parties with minimum supervision.

You will play a pivotal role as a sole Paralegal support 2 in-house Legal Counsel.

The focus of the role will not be limited to:

* Provide and manage legal support for company's businesses and functions in Asia-Pacific markets
* Capable of providing thorough and solution-focused legal advice on time-sensitive legal situations and initiatives
* Manage contact with external service providers and take care of legal file management to maintain corporate secretarial compliance throughout the Asia-Pacific region
* Provide administrative and policy support to the Head of Legal, including secretariat and insurance claims handling
* Provide legal compliance training on Compliance Policies, the Code of Conduct, and specific commercial law topics
* Will assist risk management and internal audit to assure employee compliance
* Reinforce the culture, values, and reputation of the company

The Requirements:

* At least 5 years' experience in Legal department work either with prior law firm or MNC.
* Degree or Diploma in Law will be added advantage
* Demonstrated ability to work in multifunctional and multicultural teams
* Self-sufficient, responsible, and self-motivated worker
* Prior experience in the logistics industry is preferred
* Excellent attention to detail

Location: East (Accessible by MRTs and Buses)
Working days: Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm
