Our Client:

The company we represent is experiencing rapid expansion and focuses on Engineering Construction, Telecommunications, and Investments. They are currently in search of a Quantity Surveyor to become part of their Singapore-based workforce. In the role of a Quantity Surveyor, the main duty will involve the preparation of contract and tender documents. The preferred candidate should have a solid understanding of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) aspects and hold appropriate qualifications in the field of quantity surveying.

The Responsibilities:

* Aid in the preparation of contract and tender documentation, which includes the formulation of bills of quantities
* Compile and evaluate costings for various tenders
* Furnish recommendations concerning contractual claims and procurement strategies
* Analyse project outcomes and produce comprehensive progress reports
* Appraise completed tasks to assess value and initiate progress claims
* Maintain vigilance over any modifications that might impact project costs in ongoing endeavors
* Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance initiatives
* Create and submit catalogues as well as sample boards
* Execute other incidental tasks as delegated by department heads

The Requirements:

* Possession of a pertinent degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent from a recognized university
* A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in projects related to residential and industrial domains
* Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) aspects would be advantageous
* Solid grasp of health and safety regulations in Singapore
* Proficiency in software tools for budgeting and costing
* Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail; displays adaptability and flexibility
* Strong communication and facilitation abilities
