M&A Advisor

Job Description

Our Client:

Our client provides a comprehensive range of financial products and services, including equity, mezzanine, senior debt, and financial advisory services. They are currently seeking a native Japanese-speaking M&A Advisor to primarily assist in facilitating overseas investments for Japanese companies. The position is based in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

• Support for overseas investment by Japanese companies in the ASEAN region, etc.
• Overall deal process / task flow: Having general understanding of the deal process and a strong commitment to the entire process
• Material preparation: Performing research and preparing presentation materials as directed by seniors for deal generation and execution purpose
• Negotiation / Coordination: Assist in the communication between various parties involved in the M&A process, including legal / financial professionals, as well as senior executives from target companies, with direction from senior members
• Overall deal process / task flow: Providing the appropriate support for the deal process as directed by senior members of the team
• Material preparation: Researching and extracting data for material preparation as directed by senior members of the team
• Coordination: Assisting in the coordination and communication process between various parties involved in the M&A process, as directed by senior members

Requirements

The Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or equivalent
• Min 3 years of experience in M&A advisory / M&A transaction advisory / Corporate investment / corporate financing
• Experience in using financial statements
• Possessing, or being willing to acquire, basic knowledge on financial valuation and financial modelling
• Being resourceful and having initiative to ensure successful outcomes
• Proficient in Japanese Language as this role would be required to liaise with native Japanese- speaking clients and stakeholders in various countries
