HR Consultant/ Associate Consultant

Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is a fully owned subsidiary of one of the largest Japanese conglomerates, specializing in offering global HR solutions to both group entities and external clients, they are actively looking for a HR consultant to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
・Provide services related to HR policy consulting, advice on various labor issues, and other HR related services to clients mainly in Asia Oceania region
・ Execute HR consulting projects by developing and designing HR policies; Grade, Remuneration, Appraisal, Performance Management, etc. and to solve clients’ issues
・Conduct job evaluation
・Execute whole HR consulting project; make proposal, plan whole schedule, arrange meetings, lead and facilitate communication with clients and stakeholders, create deliverables, arrange payment/invoicing
・Provide advice on miscellaneous labor issues in each country in partnership with local experts and the legal department
・Take part in executing Group’s global HR initiatives
・Implement group company’s global HR policy to Branch Offices mainly in Asia Oceania Region and support operations such as appraisal process, salary & bonus review, training of HR managers/staff at each office
・Build trustful relationships with clients, partners, parent companies and other stakeholders
・Any other ad hoc or additional and/or related tasks or duties e.g. assisting recruitment of group companies, as per delegated by the Management

Requirements

The Requirements:
・Strong knowledge, skills, and experience in corporate HR systems such as Grading, Compensation, and Evaluation
・At least 3 - 5 years’ experience as HR Consultant
・ Exceptional proficiency in the English language, encompassing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, is required for effective communication through phone calls, emails, and/or meetings with Japanese and/or local staff from affiliated companies within the group
Fluency in Japanese language is not a prerequisite; however, any level of proficiency would be advantageous to be able to liaise with native Japanese-speaking stakeholders

・Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Forms, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.
