The Responsibilities:

* Underwrite a diverse range of Property & Casualty (P&C) business, including Marine and Bond, within delegated authority
* Drive the development of our Brokers channel and Financial Advisors, leading profitable business growth
* Lead annual Business Planning for Brokers and Annual business, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy
* Provide underwriting quotations and support to brokers and financial advisors, ensuring exceptional service delivery
* Step into leadership roles in the absence of key Product Underwriters, showcasing your expertise
* Review premium targets, pricing adequacy, and profitability of producers within the Brokers channel regularly
* Maintain a strong pipeline of Annual accounts, demonstrating strategic planning skills

The Requirements:

* Degree from a reputable institute or ACII/FCII qualification
* Over 10 years of experience in insurance, with technical competence in at least 2 classes of insurance
* Strong business acumen and understanding of economics and business models
* Excellent relationship-building skills with producers (agents, brokers, or direct clients)
* Contacts with key Reinsurers will be advantageous
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
