Job Title: Field Service Engineer (Actuators, Valves, Control)

Our Client: Our client specializes in high-quality flow control products and systems, including valves, actuators, and related accessories. Catering to various industries across Southeast Asia, our client emphasizes exceptional customer service and on-time deliveries, ensuring that their extensive range of certified products meets stringent industry standards. Their comprehensive offerings and commitment to quality make them a trusted partner in the flow control solutions market, providing reliable and efficient products designed for optimal performance and economy. This position entails providing technical support and service for valves, actuators, and control products to clients and customers in the region. Overseas training will be provided.

The Responsibilities:

* Work with internal and external customers to provide technical assistance
* Receive and process product returns and evaluations of defective valves & actuators
* Handle the repair of valves, actuators, & controls
* Provide field evaluations and repair products as required
* Utilize ERP systems to receive, stage & transfer products to other departments
* Modify, rebuild, setup, and calibrate actuator switchboxes and positioners

The Requirements:

* 5 to 10 years of experience as a field technician/engineer or in a technical support role in the building automation and controls industry, with expertise in valve actuation and automation controls (Electric, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic)
* Electrical and pneumatic actuator troubleshooting experience
* Experience with multimeter troubleshooting of electrical systems
* Knowledge of DDC control systems, Bacnet, and Modbus networks is a plus
* Ability to read and interpret electrical control and mechanical control drawings
* Ability to interpret P&ID drawings
* Computer skills: MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), LN, Outlook, CRM, and other applicable software
* Able to lift 50 lbs. or less periodically
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Willingness to travel up to 25%
