Job Title: Area Sales Manager (APAC, Aviation, Power)

Our Client: Our client is a global leader in manufacturing ground power units (GPUs) and pre-conditioned air units (PCAs) for aircraft, along with aircraft cables and PCA hoses. With over 90,000 units delivered to customers in more than 100 countries, our client ensures reliable and efficient ground support for the aviation industry.

As the Area Sales Manager, you will need experience selling to the aviation market across the APAC region. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by airports, airlines, and ground handlers in this diverse and rapidly growing market.

The Responsibilities:

* Manage existing distributor and customer markets while developing new markets by identifying potential customers and distributor networks
* Extensive travel is required, with approximately 50% of your time spent traveling each year
* Execute the commercial sales process, including travel within assigned countries
* Maintain and grow relationships with customers, consultants, and distributors
* Perform both direct and channel sales
* Prepare sales budgets for individual markets and countries
* Develop action plans for assigned countries
* Select and negotiate contracts with distributors
* Review tender invitations, technical specifications, quotations, and contracts
* Handle technical clarifications with the project management team
* Prepare and deliver presentations internally and externally
* Undertake other duties as directed by the Sales Director, Asia Pacific

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
* Relevant educational background with international sales experience in technical equipment for the aviation industry or project sales
* Minimum 5 years of regional sales experience as a sales manager in Asia Pacific
* Proven positive sales performance
* Experience in the aviation segment or project sales
* Highly motivated, dedicated, and results-oriented
* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Ability to create and implement sales plans and strategies
* Experience in developing sales budgets and meeting goals
* Skilled in mentoring and coaching distributors
* Proficient in analyzing sales data
* Capable of conducting customer sales calls and presentations
* Team player in a diverse cultural environment
* Eager to learn new technologies
* Willingness to travel
