Assistant Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is a well-established Japanese manufacturer of Industrial equipment and applications. They are currently looking for an Assistant Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. Proficiency in Japanese language to communicate with Japanese stakeholders would be advantageous

The Responsibilities:
• Commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, debugging and integration of field instrumentation products
• Providing technical support to field service teams
• Supporting Factory Acceptance test and Site Acceptance test
• Maintaining accurate and reliable service tool inventory
• Completing service documentation is completed in proper format and by due dates- this includes items such as timesheets, service/repair reports, follow ups, daily logs, expenses, etc.
• Ensuring proper storage of engineering documentation- drawings, version history, scope documents, RFI's

Requirements

The Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma / ITE Certificate in Instrumentation / CPT / Electronics / Mechatronic Engineering with 2 years of related experience in Instrumentation
• Experience in handling with high vacuum equipment, pumps, chillers, and compressors
• Able to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Good knowledge of machine operation and machine construction
• Proficiency in Japanese language to communicate with Japanese stakeholders would be advantageous
