Job Title: Senior Specification Consultant (Interior Finished Products)

Our Client: Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of laminates and surfacing solutions, specializing in decorative and compact laminates for interior and exterior applications. Serving the Asia Pacific region, they provide a wide range of products used in residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including walls, countertops, partitions, and furniture. Known for quality, innovation, and sustainability, they offer certified eco-friendly products and cater to architects, interior designers, contractors, and end-users with a diverse selection of colours, textures, and finishes.

The Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with main contractors, architects, and designers to ensure the company's products are specified in their projects, aiming to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
* Proactively identify and build relationships with new clients to expand market share
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
* Deliver effective product presentations to contractors, architects, designers, and other stakeholders, highlighting the advantages and key features of the products
* Work with contractors and carpenters to promote the company's products as the preferred materials, driving immediate sales opportunities
* Track the progress of product specifications, monitor success rates, and follow up to convert specifications into sales
* Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, accounts, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth sales processes and project delivery
* Maintain detailed records of specification activities, project statuses, and customer interactions for reporting and analysis
* Provide market insights to management to support strategic decision-making

The Requirements:

* Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Sales, Business Management, or a related field
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the building materials or architectural products industry, with a proven track record in specifications and sales
* Strong understanding of product specifications and project lifecycles
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as in a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and project tracking tools.
