Job Title: Technical Service Specialist (Tower Cranes)

Our Client: Our client has a rich history spanning over 120 years, dedicated to delivering high-quality, customer-oriented products and services. As a prominent provider of engineered lifting solutions, they design, manufacture, market, and support a diverse range of mobile hydraulic cranes, tower cranes, lattice-boom crawler cranes, and boom trucks through their well-known brand names.

This role involves providing technical support, repairs, training, and troubleshooting for crane products, to dealers and customers, requires hands-on skills.

The Responsibilities:

Provide warranty services, technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and third-party breakdown repairs for authorized dealers and end users, ensuring compliance with the Product Manual
Offer on-site technical support for rigging, troubleshooting, and repairs of tower crane products
Train dealer representatives in commissioning newly launched product models
Collaborate with factory teams and colleagues within the group to resolve technical issues, develop solutions, and share product support experiences
Analyze technical problem reports to identify trends impacting future design, production, service, and maintenance, and recommend modifications to prevent recurring issues
Provide remote technical assistance to dealers and customers via phone support
Investigate crane accident causes and prepare detailed technical reports

The Requirements:

* Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent technical/vocational qualification
* At least 2 years of relevant work experience in tower cranes
* Strong knowledge of hand tools, electronic devices, and computer applications
* Proficient in reading and interpreting schematic drawings
* Self-reliant and mature in problem-solving and issue resolution
* Willingness to travel locally and internationally on short notice
