Our client is a global logistics company.

The Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for IT logistics initiatives, delivering high-quality implementations (e.g., WMS, TMS) that meet business and client objectives
• Provide expert logistics and systems consultancy to internal teams and external clients, offering tailored solutions to optimize operations and technology use
• Oversee application environment deployments, coordinating with technical teams, preparing deployment plans, and ensuring seamless execution with business units
• Conduct business analysis, gather requirements, and design IT solutions, including system configuration, EDI/API mapping, and product enhancement proposals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success and long-term collaboration
• Troubleshoot application issues through detailed analysis, providing technical insights and resolutions as needed
• Manage project scope, document requirements, and drive change processes, securing stakeholder alignment and delivering robust, tested solutions
• Facilitate staff training and system adoption while contributing to the design and enhancement of logistics applications
• Champion Agile methodologies and best practices to improve team performance and project outcomes

The Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of IT experience, with a focus on SDLC, system development, or analysis
• Logistics industry knowledge and expertise with WMS/TMS systems
• Proven experience in Tier 2 WMS implementation and SQL
• Solid understanding of modern automation technologies (e.g., RPA, BI, warehouse automation such as ASRS, Conveyor, PTL)
• Good to have skillsets (Power Automate)
• Proficiency with process or workflow modeling tools
• Strong business acumen, customer service focus, and familiarity with Agile delivery model
• Knowledge of specification methods (e.g., Use Case Modeling, Data Modeling, Interfaces)
• Experience in 3PL from a systems and operational perspective
• Self-motivated team player with strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C++, .NET, Java) and optimized SQL query writing
• Quick learner with an aptitude for adopting new technologies (e.g., REST/SOAP/XML services, mobile apps, cloud integration)
